Confederate Legend Medal

If the Confederacy had a Hall of Fame, then the recipients of this medal would have their plaques hanging up for all to see. This medal honors those whose long service to the Club has helped them to accumulate 5,000 or more OBD points. It is rare medal to see awarded in the CSA and takes years to earn.​
The Confederate Legend Medal is awarded to Confederate officers who reach the 5,000 point plateaus. The medal includes no additional OBD points for recipients. It may be won multiple times at every 5,000 point increment.

Robert E. Lee Medal

The Confederate side of the ACWGC is blessed to have many great members. From time to time we stop and recognize those amongst us who have gone above and beyond the call of duty for their fellow Confederates. This special medal honors those members whose contributions make our lives more enjoyable in the ACWGC.

The Robert E. Lee Medal is awarded to Confederate officers who go above and beyond the normal call of duty for the Confederacy. The medal includes 20 additional OBD points for recipients. ​

John Dragan Medal

Named after the ACWGC's all-time Confederate leader in accumulated points, Gen. John Dragan. During his 18-year career in our Club (2003 - 2021), John accumulated a total of 12,285.12 points and completed an astounding 1,081 games. John passed away in 2021 but is remembered through the awarding of the John Dragan Medal.​
The John Dragan Medal is awarded to Confederate officers each time they accumulate 1,000 OBD Points in the Department of Records. The medal includes no additional OBD points for recipients.

Brotherhood Medal
Working as a team to achieve a victory in any war is a complicated task. It is the same with the games that we play here in the ACWGC. But when Confederate Members team up and work together to achieve a victory - it is a noteworthy achievement.
The Brotherhood Medal is awarded to Confederates members when they complete Multiplayer Games and register them in the DOR. For every 5 completed Multiplayer Games the medal will be awarded along with 10 OBD points. The medal my be won multiple times.

Pierre Beauregard Medal

Playing and completing games is what we all joined the ACWGC to do. But winning them is really what we are all striving to accomplish. This medal seeks to recognize those Confederate generals who rack up victories over the Yankee invaders.
The Pierre Beauregard Medal is awarded to Confederate officers each time they register 25 battle victories in the Department of Records. The medal includes no additional OBD points for recipients.

Warrior Medal

This medal was forged in honor of former Confederate Member, Lt. Gen. Tom Phillips. Tom completed over 1,000 games during his career with the ACWGC (2006 - 2023). Tom was constantly playing a dozen games at a time and just enjoying the friendly competition - win or lose.
The Warrior Medal is awarded to Confederate officers each time they reach 100 completed games in the Department of Records. This medal includes 10 additional OBD points for recipients.

Stonewall Medal

"Kill them, sir. Kill every last man of them," so said Stonewall Jackson when asked how the war might be concluded. In order for the Confederate Cause to achieve victory we must have as many victories on the battlefield as possible. This medal is designed to reward the most successful generals wearing the gray.

The Stonewall Medal is awarded to Confederate officers when they reach 100 Battle Major Victories in the Department of Records. The medal includes 20 additional OBD points for recipients and may be won multiple times.

Dixie Medal

Getting started in any Club is a difficult task. You must find opponents, learn the rules, and then try not to get discouraged when you run into veteran officers on the other side with far more experience than you. The Dixie Medal is the CSA's way of recognizing when new officers are gaming and making their way up in the Club.
The Dixie Medal is awarded to Confederate officers when they complete and register their first five games, of any kind, in the Department of Records. The medal includes 10 additional OBD points for recipients.

Honor Guard Medal

Fighting battles is hard work - winning them is even harder. The Honor Guard Medal will be awarded to only those Confederate officers who prove they are worthy of wearing one of the most prestigious of Confederate medals.
The Honor Guard Medal is awarded each January to the four Confederate officers of the previous calendar year who completed the highest number of turns in one-on-one battles against the enemy (must be played as a Confederate in the Battle). The officer will only receive credit for the turns played in winning battles. Those who win this medal will receive 20 OBD points and it can be won repeatedly if earned.

Deo Vindice Medal

Deo Vindice became the motto of the Confederacy and was printed on many official documents and seals. It means, "With God, our Defender" or "Under God as our Vindicator." The best way to win any war is to fight the enemy consistently and without mercy.
The Deo Vindice Medal is awarded to Confederate officers who complete at least 50 games in a calendar year. This medal is awarded with 20 OBD points and may be won numerous times during an officer's career.

Lincoln Medal

Playing and completing games is what we all joined the ACWGC to do. The Lincoln Medal recognizes Union officers when they register 100 games in the Department of Records. Whether you win, lose, or fight the enemy to a draw, all that matters is that you are out there playing and enjoying the games.
The Lincoln Medal is awarded to Union officers when they register 100 games in the Department of Records. The medal includes 10 additional OBD points for recipients and may be awarded more than once.

Defender of the Union Medal

The Defender of the Union Medal (formerly known as the Union's Medal of Honor) is the highest honor the Union Command can bestow upon a Member.

The Defender of the Union Medal is awarded to Union officers for conduct which goes well beyond the call of duty to serve the Federal cause and the ACWGC. This medal includes 20 additional OBD points as a reward and may be awarded more than once.

U.S. Grant Medal

The War of the Rebellion wages on and on and we are continually fighting the rebels on all fronts. Union officers earn OBD points for battles, administrative duties, and for earning medals. These points add up over time as you gain experience and seniority as a Union officer.
The U.S. Grant Medal is awarded to Union officers when they reach 1,000 total OBD points in the Department of Records. This medal includes 20 additional OBD points for recipients and may be awarded multiple times.

Sharpshooter Medal

The Confederate armies must be worn down and defeated in total. The best way to crush the rebellion is to teach them that they can never be victorious over us in battle. This medal recognizes those amongst us who crush the rebels repeatedly on the field of battle.
The Sharpshooter Medal is awarded to Union officers when they register 100 battle victories in the Department of Records. This medal includes 20 additional OBD points for recipients and may be awarded more than once.

Rosecrans Medal

The war being raged against American democracy never ceases - and neither do those of us defending the Constitution and the Union. This medal will recognize those officers who tirelessly battle on each year to suppress the rebellion.
The Rosecrans Medal is awarded to Union Members who complete ten games and register them in the Department of Records in a calendar year. This medal can be awarded once per year and includes 10 additional OBD points as a reward.

Sherman Medal

"War is cruelty. There is no use trying to reform it. The crueler it is, the sooner it will be over." So said William Sherman who made it his duty to drive the rebels into the Sea. This medal is for only the most active and determined Union officers.
The Sherman Medal is awarded to officers who complete 50 games during a calendar year. This medal comes with 20 OBD points and can be won once per year.
This medal is not retroactive to any games played before 2025.

U.S.C.T. Medal

The Union Armies wish to honor the memory, patriotism, and bravery of the volunteer United States Colored Troops during the American Civil War. This medal will be awarded to Union officers who successfully gain a battle victory in two of the largest battles involving U.S.C.T. units.

The U.S.C.T. Medal is awarded to officers who gain a battle victory at either the Battle of the Crater (WDS Petersburg) or the Battle of Olustee (WDS Forgotten Campaigns). Officers wishing to claim this medal are responsible for alerting their Army Commander when they qualify and the game is posted in the Department of Records. Carries a 10 OBD reward and may only be awarded once per Union officer.

Elmer Ellsworth Medal

The Elmer Ellsworth Medal is awarded to UA officers when they reach five completed games in the Department of Records. The medal includes 10 additional OBD points for recipients.

McClellan Medal

The best way to improve as a soldier or a general is to train and practice as much as you can. Learning from your fellow Union officers through maneuvers is a great way to prepare yourself for the real battles against the rebels.
The McClellan Medal is awarded each time a Union officer completes 20 Maneuvers against fellow officers. This includes ATA Training Games and Multiplayer Maneuvers. This medal comes with 10 OBD points and can be won up to ten times.

Eagle Medal

Wars are not fought and won by a single general. Winning a war takes many men and generals all working towards a common goal - to defeat their enemy. Our Federal armies have many great generals which frequently work together to crush the rebel traitors. This medal honors those who excel at teamwork to defeat the enemy.
The Eagle Medal is awarded to Union members who complete 10 Multiplayer Games. The medal carries 20 OBD points and can be won any number of times.
